Maggy Lefebvre

Music has always been a part of me, it really defines me as the person I am. I started to sing as soon as I was able to talk, then at the age of 7 started to take lessons for 7 years. As a teenager I got into metal music really quickly, now my influences are mainly metalcore , deathcore and djent bands like Whitechapel, Thy art is murder, Fit for an autopsy, Architects, Veil of Maya, Breakdown of sanity just to mention a few! Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel) and Sam Carter (Architects) are probably my favorites vocalists. I really love the finesse that metal vocals needs to have and I always kept trying to refine this over the years.

Between 2012 and 2017, I was the vocalist and co-founder of See through secrecy. For 5 years I fronted this band which was my second family. We produced a 5 songs EP entitled The voice inside which was released in 2014. We played around 25-30 shows, shared the stage with some really good bands like The Agonist, Red Handed Denial, Death Lullaby and many more! So when the band fell apart, so did I. I was completely lost, I even had to relearn how to do vocals and this is one of the reasons why I can relate to Eternal Closure’s music: « Move forward, let it all go, relearn all you know, restart it all »

This is such a good opportunity for me, lyrics are inspiring, music is a good recipe of flawless melodies mixed with brutality, and vocals are huge! I would like to thank the boys for giving me the chance to be part of this!

I feel I tried a thousand times before [but I promise] I will try a million more.
